The Duncan School Training Agreement
Please note that this agreement is non-refundable
I acknowledge that participating in a dog obedience training class entails certain inherent risks to myself, my family members, guests, and my dog. Some of the dogs in the class may be challenging to control, potentially leading to injuries despite our best efforts. I commit to maintaining control over my dog throughout the training.
In the event of any accidents, losses, or injuries, I hereby release The Duncan School of Canine Excellence, along with its officers, agents, members, instructors, and all other individuals connected with the training program, from any liability for any injury or damage that may arise from my participation in this class. I willingly assume the risks associated with any such injuries or damages while attending any training sessions or events hosted by The Duncan School of Canine Excellence, or while present on the training premises or surrounding areas.
Moreover, I agree not to hold The Duncan School of Canine Excellence, its staff, or volunteers responsible for any actions or behavior exhibited by my dog following the completion of this class. I commit to adhering to the training rules and decisions set forth by The Duncan School of Canine Excellence. I also understand that I must not bring my dog to training class if it is ill, in heat, or has any communicable canine diseases or conditions, or if any of these conditions exist in any other dog within my household. In such cases, I will reschedule for a later date and time.
I acknowledge my responsibility for cleaning up after both my dog and myself during class sessions. If I am unable to do so, I will seek assistance.
I am aware that I may be held liable for any damages caused by myself and/or my dog to the training property and surroundings, as well as any liability for such damages incurred by officers, agents, members, instructors, or any other individuals connected with the training program.
Regarding the use of agility equipment during class or practice, I understand that no dog is allowed on any obstacle without the presence of a representative from The Duncan School of Canine Excellence. Failure to comply with this procedure may result in dismissal from the class or practice.
I further understand that I must provide a copy of my dog's rabies certificate (for dogs over 6 months old) before being allowed to participate in class. Coupons hold no cash value and cannot be combined.
Payment in full (via check, cash, or card) and proof of my dog's vaccination are mandatory before the first class, unless alternative arrangements have been previously agreed upon. Please note that a $45.00 fee will be charged for returned checks. All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.
Furthermore, I acknowledge my responsibility to continue reinforcing and maintaining the training outside of the formal training sessions.
